Concert band assessment is this week! Every student from 6th grade on up is involved in this required class performance. There are a few students who are playing in both groups...

Donuts will be delivered to the band room for pickup FRIDAY, FEB 15th. This is a change. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

The first competition for the Winter Guard is Feb 9th at E C Glass HS in Lynchburg.

9:00am – Arrive at CMS/CHS for rehearsal
1:30pm – Depart for EC Glass HS, Lynchburg
3:00pm – Arrive at EC Glass HS
5:02pm – PERFORMANCE for Cumberland HS Winter Guard
7:15pm – Award...

UNBELIEVABLE!

I can’t thank enough all the folks who worked to make hosting the first Cumberland Winter Classic such an amazing success. I’ve done a LOT of hosting in my day, and WOW did everything go so amazingly well...

This is short notice, I know.

The new jazz band is going to play for the MS boys basketball games. There are three games in the next week, and we’re planning to be at all of them.

Just a quick note to say Happy Holidays, as well as tidy up the calendar year before break.

FOR THOSE HS BAND MEMBERS PLAYING AT THE 4TH GRADE EVENT TONIGHT, we will stay after school, eat, rehearse, and then go to CCES about 5:30pm...

According to the Cumberland Sheriff’s Facebook page, the Cumberland Christmas Parade has been postponed until the following Sunday, 12/16/18.

Everyone stay safe and warm, and we’ll see you back in school shortly.
