Cumberland Bands Newsletter – 10/5/21

Hello fabulous band people!

It’s a busy week for the marching band. Aside from regular marching rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday, we have a Friday home game and a Saturday competition. Also, the marching band shoes have come in!

FRIDAY 10/8 – Home Game. Bring everything you need for the day when you come to school in the morning (including black socks.

SATURDAY 10/9 – Competition at Midlothian HS

1:45p – Arrive at Band Room – dress in uniform
2:30p – Load da buses! Depart for Midlo HS
4:00p – Arrive at MHS
5:20p – Performance Time
10:15p – Awards
11:00p – Depart for CHS
12:15a – Arrive at CHS

Return times are approximate.  I will send a message through Remind.com when we depart Midlothian HS, as well as when we arrive at the CHS band room.

Take a weather-appropriate change of clothes for after your performance. Plan to purchase supper on site.

Remember:  No one goes home until everything is unloaded and put away.
