Cumberland Bands Newsletter – 4/3/20

Hello all my beautiful band people!

I miss you all very, very much. I don’t have a lot in the way of news, but I did want to just say hello!

Starting next week, the Google classroom will be up and running for all my band children. We’re going to engage opportunities to explore notable musicians, learn some music theory, and whatever else fun I can come up with. I have many ideas. 🙂

Classroom codes are below. I would like for you to join your specific class. If some of you want a greater challenge, then you can also look to older classes if that interests you.

Google Classroom Codes for Band Classes:

Do let me know if you’re having any trouble getting into class.

This will be new territory for all of us, but when you think about it the last five years have all been new territory for Cumberland Bands — and it’s been awesome!

If you have any ideas about engaging (or just fun) activities we can do online, then toss your idea my way. I definitely have some creative fun we can do on top of the basics.

As soon as I have any idea about how the fall is going to look, you’ll all be the first to know. Gotta have an awesome marching band, ya know!

I love all you so much, so please stay safe!
