Hello my awesome, sequestered band people!

We are in crazy times, for sure, and I hope you haven’t already eaten through your quarantine snacks! (I have not been so good in this department, to say the least)

I just wanted to shout out to all my kids and parents. I know it’s been a week since we’ve seen each other, so I thought I would bring some news.

I don’t have any more school info available to me than you already have. What I DO know, though, is that we have the best leadership in the Commonwealth guiding our school system, so I have been very careful to listen to everything they have been posting and sending out. If you aren’t getting information from the schools, then please go to the school web site and look at the live feed column. This provides you with the latest information on food delivery, educational content, and more!

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH BAND?

I don’t know! 🙂

We’re going to walk forward with the band program one step at a time to ensure that all of us are doing what we can for our shared goals. I have been in contact with dozens of my band director colleagues as we all sort through numerous potential short-term futures and how to make the most of them. In the long run, our program will be strong and will resume our unending trek toward new levels of excellence.

BORED? WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO SOME INTERACTIVE BAND STUFF?

Would you be interested in doing some online stuff together that’s band and music oriented just for fun? I’m happy to put stuff together if people are interested.
