Cumberland Bands Newsletter – 10/3/18

Hello awesome band folks!

Lots of stuff, so let’s dive right in.

==MARCHING BAND==

Thursday 10/4 is going to be a hot practice day.  Make sure your child has proper outdoor athletic clothing for the afternoon, and I highly recommend each child bring a source of water to have on the field.

Friday is game day!  We still need hot dog buns, waters/drinks, chips and desserts to feed everyone for supper.  Help if you can!

== HARVEST DINNER THEATRE – TUES, OCTOBER 30, 2018 ==

This is a must-hear event!

The CHS Concert Band and will be performing a spooky old-time radio show.  This year’s event will feature a radio retelling of the timeless Rudyard Kipling classic The Mark of the Beast. You’ll hear other fun musical performances, as well.  A delicious buffet dinner is served by the CHS Culinary Arts department.

Join us in the CHS cafetorium for this fun audio experience.

Dinner is served at 6:pm
Performance begins at 7:pm
and lasts about 30 minutes.

Tickets are $10
$5 for children 6 and under who are eating.
We are prepared for your specialized dietary needs upon request.

Saturday, Dec 1 – Santa Breakfast @ CMS/CHS Cafetorium, 8am-12noon
Sunday, Dec 2 – MARCHING BAND: Farmville Christmas Parade
Tuesday, Dec 4 – ALL BAND CLASSES: Winter Concert @7:pm
Sunday, Dec 9 – MARCHING BAND: Cumberland Christmas Parade
