Cumberland Bands Newsletter – 8/14/17

Hello awesome band folks!

Two quick announcements as we get this year rolling:

1. Marching Band starts tomorrow, Tuesday, August 15, 2017!  Make sure your marching child has turned in a permission form, as well as indicating if they need to ride the 6pm athletic bus or is being picked up.
2. 5th Grade / New Member Instrument Night is also tomorrow, Tues, Aug 15, 2017 in the band room at 7pm-8pm.  If you are renting or purchasing your instrument through a local business, then this is a great opportunity to have the music stores come to Cumberland!

   One note about payment: If you are renting an instrument, then you will need to plan to both enter into a rental agreement, which can only be done with a Credit/Debit card, as well as plan to purchase the method book and any additional low-cost accessories (reeds, oil, sticks, etc, depending on the instrument) for your child. Purchases can be done by either check or card, but the rental agreement can only be done via credit/debit card. This is a change from what I may have told some of you.
